Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Measurement (Ambient and Personal Exposure)

VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), ie Volatile Organic Compounds, are organic compounds with easy evaporation in indoor air.

Ministry of Labor and Social Security, in the Official Gazette dated 12.08.2013 and numbered 28733, in order to protect the health of employees and to provide a safe working environment from the existing or potential risks arising from the effects of chemical substances in the workplace, used or processed in any way. VOC Measurement is a measurement made to determine the concentration of volatile organic compounds, which are formed due to working conditions and emitted into the air, in industries that work with such compounds (paint, cleaning materials, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, production chemical facilities, etc.).

These measurements are repeated whenever there is any change in the workplace conditions that may affect the exposure of workers to chemical substances. The measurement results are evaluated by taking into account the occupational exposure limit values specified in this Regulation.
